Gibbs Legacy: An Introduction

This is the story of the Gibbs family. This family is a matriarchy. An heiress and a spare is always produced to ensure the family line does not stop. Other family members are moved to other houses once they are married and pregnant (or impregnated someone). The heiress stays on the legacy lot of course, until they die.

Family trait: Flirty (this is actually to make it easy for me to lure prospective mates and ensure babies are on the way!)

Occupation: will try to rotate all the occupations around all the Gibbs heiresses to make it more fun :) No two heiresses will have the same job!

Names: Per generation, I am naming them alphabetically. Also to help me keep track of which generation they are already in.

7: Home Improvement 1

I have been lucky in my chosen profession. My customers are mostly rich people and they can afford to pay me top dollar when they are really happy.

This has allowed me to enlarge my home from the hodge podge of colors it was in the beginning to a stately bungalow.

What my old home looked like when I was single:

With five kids, I had to keep on renovating. This is the new kitchen. We've kept our old dining table for sentimental value.

Our living area. Well, just more of a large foyer. I've never taken a liking to having couches. It serves no purpose whatever. Or books because my job never called for it. I was meant to be stylish...not smart.

My work room where all my paintings are hung. And my certificates and trophies from the city council. They always bring me great joy whenever I look at them. And even greater joy when I realized I didn't even have to work too hard to get these. hahaha.

The Master bedroom.

Bianca's (my heiress) room.

Bree's (main spare) room.

The baby's room which is adjacent to the master bathroom and master bedroom.

And our barbecue area which we use to eat outside sometimes. It has a good view of the beach.

Our painting easels are all placed outside. It is easier to get inspired and make masterpieces when faced with nature's beauty.

I love our home. It fills me with quiet pride when I look back on my younger years and I remember living in a one room apartment. It wasn't squalor but it was unequal to beauty such as this. Hopefully future Gibbs women would grow this house into more than home for them and their children, and their children's children. But mark it with the regal legacy that I hope we will be known for.
